Each session is followed by a short test, in which the candidate has to achieve a mark of 16/20 to continue the course, so attendance does not mean automatic approval. STC currently run these courses on a regular basis, however, we are flexible and often travel the country to carry out the courses for customers who want the course to be conducted on their own site. The passport is valid for three years until it id due for renewal. If the renewal is carried out within three months of the expiry date, then the candidate is only required to take a one day course rather than re-take the full 2 day course.
